Meme template is here: [link] I had kind of a tough time with this, in the same way I had a hard time with the memes where I had to come up with my ten favorite movies and ten hottest cartoon women, etc. Deciding favorites is not as easy as it seems.

So I guess the idea here is if you can identify at least 80% of these characters, then you are my friend. :D But if you can't, then you might as well go crawl in a hole and die for all I care. :bye:


EDIT: Now that I've given people a chance to guess, I might as well identify all of these myself, so I won't feel obligated to keep letting people know which ones they missed.

1. Arsene Lupin III (Lupin the 3rd) I've only seen some of the anime, but what I've seen, I've loved. I don't love the manga so much, though, where he's almost this pseudo-rapist.
2. Spider Jerusalem (Transmetropolitan) "Raving lunatic and voice of reason."
3. Gonzo (The Muppets) My role model as a kid.
4. Arnold Judas Rimmer (Red Dwarf) Dave Lister was arguably the main character, but I often related more to Rimmer, the self-loathing jerk.
5. Spike (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) Unapologetic badass who still ultimately tries to do the right thing.
6. Harley Quinn (Batman) Not really a bad person, but falling for the wrong guy has certainly screwed her up.
7. Lt. Columbo (Columbo) Very disappointing how many people missed this one. Either my caricature skills are lacking or you kids today are sorely deprived.
8. Sherlock Holmes- What's not to like?
9. Donald Duck- There were a few other duck characters I considered adding to this list: Daffy, Darkwing, Count Duckula. But when you come down to it, I've always liked Donald. I guess he represents sort of a frustrated everyman quality. I also have loved the few Carl Barks and Don Rosa comics I've had the privilege of reading.
10. Ryoko (Tenchi Muyo!) Pretty much fell in love with her from the first episode I saw. She's very much the sort of woman I'm attracted to.

Like I said, this was tough. There were several characters that didn't quite make the cut for whatever reason. Superman and the Doctor were a couple that came close, for example. It's also surprising, being as big a Star Trek fan as I am, I didn't pick a single one of the many dozens of Star Trek characters that are out there. I strongly contemplated both Q and Voyager's EMH. Oh, and Garak is another one I just thought of. Actually, I could do another one of these with just Star Trek characters.

I see you had a "anime crush" on Ryoko as well.

yeah well that was back when Tenchi was on Toonami. I do own a japanese tenchi game for the saturn.

I think the reason no one is guess Columbo is the sheer number of trenchcoat wearing detectives out there. Still awesome piece even if I'm not as familiar with the characters.

I have 6/10: Gonzo, Spike from Buffy, Harley Quinn(I love her) Columbo, Sherlock Holmes, and Daffy. I think the first guy is LupinIII but not sure.

Gonzo, Rimmer James Dean, Harley Quinn, Columbo, Sherlock Homes and Donald Duck.
I didn't read the Artist description or any of the comments cause I wanted to see if I could get any of them right. If the others aren't listed than I wasn't sure.
