Based on a photo of Kylie Minogue. I'm very pleased with the way this pic came out.
I'm fuzzy on what exactly warrants a "mature content" warning, but this one seems to push the envelope a bit, so I'm sticking one on just to be on the safe side.
About the background: When I paint, I mix up the paints on a piece of wax paper, so there's less to clean up afterwards. Often, I find that what ends up on the wax paper looks cooler than what I painted. So, I got the idea of scanning it, enhancing it a little in photoshop, and what I got was this cool spacey background.
