I enjoyed drawing one of *MDetector5's characters as a magical girl, and as I worked on that, it started giving me ideas to do something similar with my own character, Bianca. Before I knew it, the idea for a comic started coming into focus, which I feel a little excited by, since I've been pretty creatively dried-up lately, plus it would finally give me a chance to actually use Bianca in something.

I am not all that familiar with the magical girl genre, which might be an asset more than a hinderance, since I'd rather take it my own direction and not just make it just another spoof, of which I'm sure there are plenty. Another source of inspiration for my idea is the Bill Paxton movie "Frailty." You might call it "Sailor Moon meets Son of Sam." I dunno, we'll see where I go with it, assuming I don't lose interest before I even start.

These are just some rough ideas of what her costume might look like. I wanted it to look fairly ridiculous. I used photos from as reference material for all but the lower righthand pose.
