Old comics and stuff

Over the weekend, a pipe burst in the basement of my apartment building, right over my storage space. Some of my belongings got soaked, but nothing of any great value was lost. Fortunately, a lot of my old artwork I was keeping down there just narrowly avoided disaster. While I was going through a partially dampened box, I found this manila folder filled with old comics and sketches of mine, which the moisture did not quite reach.

So, anyway, culled from that folder, here's another sampling of some of my early work, again, probably from around age 11, which was a creatively fertile period. None of these are knee-slappingly funny, but to my regret, I never had the greatest sense of humor. Some of the visual gags here seem to be lifted from old Looney Tunes and Disney cartoons.

I know this kind of crap isn't very interesting to many of you, but I kind of like looking at this stuff. And hey, look, one of the bonus sketches on the bottom shows my OC Ralph in a skirt, so that's a little something for a section of my current audience.
